This week’s cocktail is a twist of a summer favourite: I can it the Chic-Choc-Colada.
Most Pina Colada recipes call for white rum, but I really like Chic Choc’s spicy bouquet and hints of sugar cane, pepper, vanilla and cinnamon. It’s really good rum, and I love it even more knowing that all the spices are native to Quebec, making this spirit an authentic Canadian classic.
Ceres Juices are made out of a 1oo% fruit juice blend and no sugar nor preservatives added. Combined them with the convenience of Coco Real and you have yourself a cocktail! You can purchase all these products (with the exception of the rum of course) at your local Save-On Foods amongst others.
4oz Ceres 100% Pineapple Juice
3 oz Coco Real Cream of Coconut
2 oz Chic Choc Rum
3 Maraschino cherries for garnish.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and set to crush. Mix for approximately 1-1.5 minutes or until ice is crushed. Serve with three maraschino cherries.
