Slow Down Your Busy Life with Quaker #CONTEST
What would you do if you had the chance?
Last week I shared this video: “The Recital” by Quaker embraces the love of family and the idea that each day is a new opportunity to do more of the good things that matter; not allow the pace of modern life to get in the way.
This theme hit home for me. As a mother, a professional and a blogger, my life is so full, and sometimes it’s the closest people to me that suffer. It’s so easy to get bogged down in day-to-day tasks I can often lose sight of what truly matters.
And it’s not just me! Canadians are tweeting everyday about how busy they are: in 2014, there were over 30 million Tweets in Canada related to being busy, being overworked and having too much to do. Oddly enough, the most important or fulfilling things don’t make it onto our to-do lists.
The fine people of Quaker Canada want to help you take a break with your loved ones. I’m giving a way a Quaker prize pack that includes assorted Quaker goods AND a $250 VISA prepaid gift card. You can use it to plan a getaway, an outing, or just a nice dinner out.
This is how you can enter:
- Follow @MaryinVancity and @QuakerCanada on Twitter
- Like Quaker Canada and MaryinVancity on Facebook
- Tweet the following “ If you had a chance, what would you do? Enter to win a $250 VISA card from @QuakerCanada and @MaryinVancity http://wp.me/p17nmD-2zA“
- Comment below telling me what you’d do with your VISA card
Winner will be announced on Tuesday September 1st at 5pm. Good luck everyone!
UPDATE: Congrats @Teddybobo1 – You’ve won the giveaway!
