I love  Rogue Kitchen and Wet Bar –  This funky establishment is located on the same building as the Waterfront Skytrain Station. Its one of my favorite casual dining restaurants, and they make some mean cocktails. Also I should mention their excellent use of social media. You can find Rogue on Twitter, where they offer daily specials for twitter followers. And good ones too, like free drinks or appies. If you check into Rogue on foursquare, you can get a $5 gift card for your next visit.

My last outing to Rogue was for  Dine Out Vancouver:  For $28 you had a choice of three courses. I started with the crab cakes with chipotle aioli and mango salsa. They make really good crab cakes here! It was a good start to our meal. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures.

For my main course I had the braised beef short ribs with mashed potatoes. It was delicious! so tender, and flavourful. The portion was very generous. To finish my meal, I had the key lime pie with whipped cream. Key lime pie is my ultimate favorite dessert. Rogue has a great key lime pie! so tangy and creamy, with a thick graham cracker crust… so yummy!

Other dishes you should taste at Rogue: Their lobster mac n’ cheese is awesome. Their fish tacos are to die for (my favorite). They have great pizzas that go great with a pint of their Apricot pale ale.

If you’re just looking for drinks and appies, Rogue has some great one to share. Try their sushi bombs – bite size sushi bits that are very fun to eat. Also their trio fries platter is a good one to share, And if you’re looking for something heartier, try their nachos.
