Zachary’s is located at the foot of Robson St. near BC Place Stadium. It’s a nice restaurant featuring West Coast Cuisine, with a bistro feeling and a warm atmosphere. On Saturday nights they have free live jazz.
I found the portions to be generous and reasonably priced. They also have a good wine list. The service is friendly and knowledgeable.
For our dinner, we chose entrees and appetizers created by Executive Chef Jose Faria. They have just released a new menu for the summer, so there are lots of new dishes to try. We had the lobster stuffed chicken breast – It was delicious. Juicy, tender chicken in a cream sauce, stuffed with plenty of lobster and mushrooms, peppers and onions. It was served with baby carrots and asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes.
We also had the linguini and that was amazing too! The cream sauce was very good and creamy and it also had bits of bacon and peas. It also came with garlic bread.
My favorite part was dessert – I had the dessert trio (cheesecake, creme brulee and chocolate cake) Why choose when you can have it all?
