The fourth annual Carnaval de Sol (Festival of Sun) will take place this Saturday June 30th on Downtown Granville St.

Five lively blocks will be transformed into a Latin fiesta, bringing you the food and culture of countries such as El Salvador, Guatemala, Columbia, Chile, Ecuador, Cuba and many others.

A grand total of 30 Latin American kitchens will be in attendance: Restaurants such as Taste of Jamaica and El Cocal will be there with many great dishes to taste.

And it’s not just the food that will be drawing people in –  with world-class entertainers, family-friendly activities, street dancers and even a soccer tournament, there will be something for everyone.

Last year, over 50,000 people attended the festival.
