The Vancouver Christmas market opened yesterday at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza. This outdoor event is guaranteed to put even the biggest Scrooge in the Christmas spirit.
The traditional atmosphere is complete with wooden huts filled with handcrafted gifts and food that include german schnitzel, mulled wine, and german beer.
Live Christmas music fills the air and sets the tone for holiday cheer. There’s even a carousel where children of all ages can go for a ride for only $3.
There’s lots to see and experience.
The Vancouver Christmas Market runs from November 22 until December 24 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., daily. Admission is $6 for adults weekdays 4pm to 9 p.m. & Weekends 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. There’s a special during weekdays 11am to 4pm – get in half prize – $3 same price as youth. Children 6 and under get in free of charge.
