Fresh from its last stop in Winnipeg, the Imagine Van Gogh exhibit is coming to the Vancouver Convention Centre in February and I for one, cannot wait. Vincent Van Gogh is my favourite artist. I remember standing for hours at the Met in NYC staring at Starry Night – drinking in every once of madness and genius.
Described as unique, original and grandiose, The Imagine Van Gogh exhibit showcases over 200 works by the Dutch artist. Using advanced techniques of multi-projection and immersive audio to add emotional depth to each image, it allows us to live and feel the creative energy of the esteemed artist.

Although this is the first time this particular exhibit is being shown in Vancouver, it’s not the first time the artist’s works have been on display in BC. The Vancouver Art Gallery displayed Masterpieces of European Art from the Pearlman Collection in 2015 that included art from Degas and Van Gogh – amongst others.
