New Production Partnership

For the first time in Le Diner en Blanc Vancouver’s history, the event will be jointly produced by its founders, The Social Concierge, and Aly Armstrong Event Planning & Design. Starting in 2024, Aly Armstrong will take over sole management and production of this signature annual event. Tyson Villeneuve, co-founder of The Social Concierge, expressed excitement about passing the torch, stating, “With Aly, we’ve found a one-in-a-million person — a true professional who will give Le Diner en Blanc the same care, attention, and passion that we have.”

Aly Armstrong, founder of Aly Armstrong Event Planning & Design, shared her enthusiasm for the opportunity, saying, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working alongside The Social Concierge this year, before pioneering Le Diner en Blanc Vancouver into a new decade.” She expressed her commitment to building on the event’s legacy and creating an even more magical community experience in the years to come.

An Artistic and Cultural Extravaganza

This year’s Le Diner en Blanc will be a celebration of the spirit of “Oh là là!” with an expanded francophone cultural component. Attendees can expect to be captivated by local and international-caliber artists, including a pop-up gallery featuring works by “Archeological Pop Art” artist Ghislain Brown-Kossi. Calligrapher Lele Chan and contemporary sculptor Mark Ollinger will also showcase their installations, adding to the artistic allure of the evening.

The entertainment lineup includes theatrical and dance performances by Vancouver’s Alliance Française, the mesmerizing Romani-jazz sensations of Van Django, and performances by scratch DJ DJ M1 from Paris and Vancouver’s own TDM. Plus, there will be surprise headliner performances and much more to thrill guests throughout the night.

To make the evening even more special, Le Diner en Blanc will debut its first-ever on-site Champagne Lounge, hosted by Taittinger, where guests can order coupes à la carte. Additionally, the event will feature the Disaronno Velvet Coffee Bar for those seeking onsite beverage options.

Prepare Your Palate with Box Menus

Guests have the option to pack their own gourmet picnics or indulge in prepared Box Menus by the event’s official box caterer, Peake of Catering. These carefully curated menus ensure that everyone enjoys a delightful dining experience.

Le Diner en Blanc is known for its unique traditions, adding to the elegance and charm of the event. From dressing head-to-toe in white to bringing white decor, chairs, and tablecloths, every guest plays a part in creating the enchanting atmosphere. French-influenced wine and Champagne will be served, and guests can pre-order these beverages or purchase them on-site.

To maintain the excitement and intrigue, the event’s secret location will be disclosed only at the last minute. Guests will gather at assigned departure locations and be escorted to the venue by Diner en Blanc volunteers. To ensure the location remains pristine, attendees are required to leave with all their belongings, leftovers, and litter.
