If you’re like me and appreciate a well-crafted spirit (especially when it’s paired with a great story), mark your calendar for Friday, June 13. The Spirits Speaker Series returns to the BMO Theatre Centre. This time, it’s spotlighting gin. The focus will be on the botanical brilliance of Empress 1908 Gin from Victoria Distillers.

Hosted by Legacy Liquor Store, this one-night-only event is more than a tasting. It’s a guided journey through five unique gins (yes, including the iconic indigo-hued Empress and the brand-new Oaken), plus a signature cocktail. You’ll learn all about the gin-making process—from farm to bottle—with Jon Marcopolous, Brand Ambassador and WSET Level 3-certified spirits expert.

🎭 This is a fundraiser for the Arts Club, one of the leading voices in Vancouver theatre. Your $80 ticket helps support local productions, and includes a tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount.
