Vancouver theatre lovers, get ready for a spectacular event. Broadway Across Canada has announced that Moulin Rouge! The Musical will play at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from January 20 to 25, 2026. This highly acclaimed production, winner of 10 Tony Awards® including Best Musical, is bringing its glitz, glamour, and unforgettable soundtrack to the West Coast.
Based on Baz Luhrmann’s iconic 2001 film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is a mash-up of romance, spectacle, and over 160 years of music — from Offenbach to Lady Gaga. The Broadway production opened to rave reviews in 2019, with The New York Times calling it “Spectacular! Euphoric! In Moulin Rouge! The Musical, life is beautiful.”

Moulin Rouge! The Musical
This touring cast features Arianna Rosario as Satine and Jay Armstrong Johnson as Christian. Robert Petkoff performs the role of Harold Zidler. Andrew Brewer is The Duke of Monroth. The ensemble features a powerhouse lineup of dancers and vocalists bringing Parisian cabaret magic to life on stage.
