Awesome Twitter contests, and the women who love them

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I love Twitter.

Twitter is not a social media platform, it’s THE social media platform. And some savvy folks know that nothing engages your customer/followers better than a contest.

From trips to cars, to cheese, here are my favorite twitter contests right now:

VancityBuzz has two amazing contests going on right now:

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway  – Until December 14th, VancityBuzz is giving away all sorts of goodies! So far there has been a Roberto Luongo signed jersey, an prize pack, a six month subscription to Film Movement DVD Club, a 90-minute massage from Smile Thai Wellness, and the giveaways keep coming! All you have to do to enter is check his website or Twitter for the day’s giveaway and RT on your Twitter feed.

OpenRoad Auto & Vancity Buzz Scion Giveaway – VancityBuzz has partnered with OpenRoad Auto Group to give away a brand new Scion.  The draw will take place on December 13th.  They are also giving away weekly prizes of $50 gift cards to Terracota Modern Chinese restaurant.  It’s easy to enter, Simply copy this onto your Twitter feed:

I entered to win a 1 yr lease for a Scion car from @VancityBuzz RT and follow @ORScion to enter!
