Japadog has three street carts and one restaurant in Vancouver. A couple of months ago I checked out their store, but if you really want to have the Japadog experience, you have to visit one of the carts! The most popular one is located on the corner of Burrard and Pender. Most days there’s a massive line-up of people trying to get one of these yummy hot dogs.

This is the thing about Japadog – It’s a Vancouver staple. If you’re a tourist in our fair city, it’s a must try.

This time around I tried the Beef Terimayo Dog (beef dog topped with seaweed and teriyaki mayonnaise) I know, seaweed on a hot dog? What can I say? Somehow it works! The dog was very juicy and the combination of seaweed and teriyaki mayonnaise it’s really tasty!

Also this cart carries their famous butter and shoyu fries! a must try.
