Halloween is just around the corner, and who doesn’t like to be scared? If thrills and chills is what you’re after, here are my top 5 recommendations to do this halloween:
1. PNE Fright Nights
This year, Fright Nights at the PNE will run from October 14-31. It features live actors, five haunted houses and rides, including the wooden roller coaster. Tickets are $28 weeknights and $33 weekends. It opens nightly from 6pm till late. Buy your tickets here.
2. Vancouver Haunted Trolley Tour
This is a 2.5 hours tour of Haunted Vancouver. Some highlights include: The former City morgue and Mountain View Cemetery.
The trolley host narrates stories of murder, mystery and the paranormal. Turns out that Vancouver’s history is quite bloody. Tickets are $35 and you can buy them here.
3. Potters House of Horrors
For those of you in the suburbs, check out Surrey’s Potters House of Horrors. This greenhouse-turned-haunted-house is awesome. The walk thru display is approximately 14,000 square feet. Complete with a state of the art sound system, the latest in animatronics and live actors, the event is now in its 7th year.
4. Dooms Night in 3D
October 29 will be an epic party night. The Pacific Coliseum will host Dooms Night – the first of its kind in 3D. Live DJ will be pumping tunes until the early morning. Get your tickets early, as this event will most likely sell out. Tickets are $80 for early bird and $100 for regular admission. Buy your tickets here.
