Looking for a good place to have dessert with @yvrbcbro, Sean recommended Cento Notti. He’s been here a couple of times and he’s liked it, so inside we went!

I gotta say, I like the decor better than the flashiness of its previous incarnation, 100 Nights/Days. The decor is a little more elegant, and the gold tones around the restaurant are a nice touch.

I ordered the Pumpkin Bread Pudding ($8). It came with pistachio Gelato and biscotti. It was garnished with fresh cranberries and came with a small serving of creme anglaise. Now pumpkin and pistachio… who would’ve thought… but it works! And it was so yummy. The bread pudding was the perfect winter dessert. Warm and not too sweet.

Sean ordered the Frozen Tiramisu ($8). We’ve heard a lot of great things about this dessert! It came topped with mascarpone cream, a small biscotti and gold leaf! Beautiful presentation! The tiramisu had a rich, coffee taste. It was a different experience, having the cake frozen. But it was very good, and it does live to its reputation.

Aside from great desserts, Cento Notti is famous for their Social Brunch –  a three course share plate brunch menu for $20 per person. Available Saturdays, Sundays, holidays 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

  1. It’s just past 7 a.m. and I could have any, or maybe both, of the dessert for breakfast.
