Glamour and style come together once again at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for the re-opening of The Roof.
The pop up Roof restaurant will be the main dining spot for the hotel starting February 14th, when they will be officially open for business. Once a beacon for glitz and glamour, the iconic restaurant is getting a head to toe makeover that includes a sunken bar with stunning views of the city.
Newly appointed chef Cameron Ballendine is adding a contemporary twist to the new menu. Starters will include classics like oysters,
French onion soup and Boston bibb wedge salad along with new offerings like tempura morels.
And crab cakes.
Classic favourite entrees will include prime rib and Yorkshire pudding and a variety of steaks – all certified Angus beef. Other menu items include pork or lamb chops, grilled free-range chicken and BC seafood.
The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and live entertainment Friday and Saturday evenings. It will also offer high tea service seven days a week.
