The biggest party in Canadian football is coming to Vancouver, and is shaping up to be the biggest and best Grey Cup Festival Vancouver has ever hosted! The festivities begin on Wednesday, November 26th leading up to the big game on Sunday, November 30th.
This year’s Grey Cup Festival is filled with family-oriented events and activities to get the whole family in the spirit of the game: everything from live concerts, football activities, meet and greets and of course, a parade!
Some of the top family-friendly events include:
Nissan Family Zone 11am-7pm daily at Jack Pooled Plaza – Daily family friendly events including Canadian Forces Bomb Truck, face painting etc.
CN Safety Zone (in the Nissan Family Zone) learn how to throw the pigskin, appearances by alumni
Canadian Forces Obstacle Course.
TELUS Street Festival – daily food trucks, interactive games and giveaways
Save-On-Foods Grey Cup Festival Parade – Start: 10:00am at Smithe & Hornby /Finish: 12:00pm at Dunsmuir & Granville.
Winding through the streets of downtown Vancouver, the parade will be a celebration of Canadian football, spirit, and the coveted Grey Cup will make an appearance! It promises to be an event filled with floats, marching bands, smiles, and fun. Get ready to ROAR on the Shore starting at 10am!
