Can hope outlast death?

Spend Valentine’s Day afternoon at the Britannia Branch Library with author Roger Blenman, as he addresses the concept of Black History and reads from his latest novel; Dead’er. World-Poetry-Feb-14-2015 Dead’er is set in Vancouver, where introvert Sean lives his quite and solitary life – that is until strange messages start to appear to him – it seems that something (or someone) is trying to contact him. Sean is convinced that his apartment is haunted by malevolent spirits. Mandy, his neighbour, is certain that the messages are a plea for help. Sean and Mandy’s determination to decipher the messages leads to questions of trust and betrayal, loneliness and forgiveness.
