Starbucks believes that exceptional coffee deserve exceptional food. Starting tomorrow, Starbucks Coffee is debuting a brand new assortment of classic French-inspired artisan pastries from San Francisco’s La Boulange Bakery. La Boulange specializes in developing authentic French specialties free of dyes and artificial flavours.
In late 2014 Starbucks completed the roll out of La Boulange baked goods to all U.S. company-operated and licensed stores. In Canada, stores in Ontario and BC are the first in the country to offer the La Boulange experience to customers. Starbucks will launch La Boulange baked goods in stores in Ottawa, Quebec and Atlantic Canada at the end of March and Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in June. The new pastry assortment include nine brand new artisanal pastries including all butter croissants, danishes, brownies and scones. Some specialty items include:
· La Boulange™/MC Gluten-Free Flourless Chocolate Cookie – Gluten-free, with single-origin chocolate chunks.
· La Boulange™/MC Cheese Danish – Flaky all-butter pastry with Neufchatel cheese. The pastries will be served warm at the stores, however, La Boulange pastries are just as delicious enjoyed at room temperature. Starbucks is so confident that you’ll fall in love with their new food menu, they want to try it for free! Starbucks is offering one lucky reader a gift package that includes:
- La Boulange Raspberry Jam
- La Boulange Caramel Sauce
- La Boulange cook book by Chef Pascal Rigo
- A $40 Starbucks Gift Card
