There’s no better way to start the holiday season than by wandering thru traditional wooden huts and twinkling lights while sipping mulled wine. From one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments to handcrafted toys, the Vancouver Christmas Market is the perfect place to find that special gift.
The market is a great place to take the family for some Christmas cheer. There’s always so much to see and do. From food vendors to live music, there’s something for everyone.
This year, we were welcome by the Ferrero Roche street team, and were treated to some chocolate goodies, and a cool photo op.
One thing we love to do is the carousel. This was Dylan’s first time on his own horse. He had a hard time letting go.
Here are some of the newcomers to the market this year:
To my delight, you can now take now take home your favourite wine or spirit. The Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery booth has award winning gins and liquors, which they are only too happy to let you sample.
The Hainle Vineyards Estate Winery has a nice selection of local and award wining wines.
If you’re looking for your next trendy-not-so-ugly Christmas sweater, Fabulous Vintage Christmas Sweaters is for you.
The Ideal Handcrafted Jewellery stand offers unique jewellery created in Spain. Each piece fuses steel and crystal to create a special and unique accessory sure to put a sparkle in someone’s eye.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is located at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza – 650 Hamilton Street, Vancouver. It runs until Dec 24th, daily 11am to 9pm. (Closes at 6pm on December 24th). Get your tickets here.
