I’m a carnivore.
Although I’ve been known to sample (and enjoy!) the odd vegetarian or vegan dish, I’m a shameless devourer of meat, a connoisseur of bacon and a sampler of brisket. A perfect example for consumption, is the humble, yet extremely satisfying hamburger, and one of our go-to places for hamburgers as a family is Wendy’s®.
All of us look forward to our “Wednesday Wendy’s®” dinner. In particular, Dylan enjoys the Jr. Sized Bacon Cheeseburger; and he has taken to calling their hamburgers “hamiburgers”, copying the insanely funny pronunciation of Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin) in The Pink Panther 2.

The study also revealed that the passion for ‘local’ continues to grow with nine out of 10 Canadians who eat beef indicating they think it’s important to purchase local.

We have made sure that one hundred per cent of Wendy’s® beef is raised in Canada and served in every hamburger across the country,” says Lisa Deletroz, Marketing Director Wendy’s® Canada. “Wendy’s takes great pride is serving local, fresh never frozen, great tasting beef.”
