Truck Stop Concerts – Quirky Beer and Live Music All Summer!

Living in Vancouver, it’s hard to dislike beer. With all the craft breweries in the city and province, there’s a draft for everyone’s unique tastes. But only one of those breweries throws a kickass concert series every year for the East Van crowd to rock out.

Red Truck has always been one of my favourites (hoppy and fruity!), but I didn’t know they had such a cool headquarters. They had a kick-off party last Monday to celebrate good beer, bluesy music, and all around chill vibes. Highly recommend their new Summer Ale, especially if you like citrus in your liquor.

The event was teased a bit of cheer into our gloomy April evening and got everyone pumped for the Truck Stop Concert Series, an event that’s been drawing thousands of eager music lovers to the Red Truck East Van headquarters for three years now.

Don’t worry about weather, the concerts (look at that plural) are on June 17th, July 15th, and August 12th, which means beautiful sunny Vancouver!

The concerts are set up with two stages, a bunch of food trucks, and of course a steady supply of high quality beer. This year’s headliners include Cut/Copy, Drake White and the Big Fire, and Lee Fields & The Expressions. If you’re into synth, soul, or funk, then you won’t want to miss this line up.

General Admissions tickets are up for sale now at $35 for each show, but you can get more bang for your buck if you get the $75 pass for all three! Find out the rest of the line up and other details at their website here.
