One of many things I love about summer – patio season! There’s nothing better than lounging in the sunshine on a patio with a delicious drink in hand.

The Keg just launched their summer cocktail menu, available starting today at The Keg / The Keg Steakhouses + Bar, with several locations in the lower mainland and three locations in Vancouver: Alberni, Dunsmuir, and Granville Island.

Monday – Traditional & Watermelon Mojitos 

The traditional mojito is a fantastic summer drink, but with watermelon? So refreshing. Enjoy a Watermelon Mojito with Havana Club rum, fresh lemon and lime juice, soda, muddled mint, watermelon and sugar.

Tuesday – Summer Gin Sour

The Summer Gin Sour is made with Ungava Gin, Grand Marnier, lemon juice, egg white, and orange marmalade. Light and refreshing, I’d definitely recommend this one for patio weather.

Wednesday – Bourbon Blackberry Smash 

I didn’t have the opportunity to try this one, but I sure would love to. Bourbon, berries and mint in the same cocktail? I’m in. This one is made with Bulleit Bourbon, Cassis, Chambord, lemon juice, fresh blackberries, and mint.

Thursday – Margarita 

Another summer classic – with Casamigos Reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, agave syrup, lemon, and lime juice.

Friday – Rosemary Blackberry Limonata

Trust me when I say this one is berry delicious. Puns aside, the Rosemary Blackberry Limonata has Ciroc Vodka, housemade rosemary/blackberry syrup, soda, and topped off with fresh rosemary and blackberries.

Time to hit up cocktail hour at The Keg – cocktail specials run daily from 3:00pm – 6:00pm, and late night from 10:00pm –  close.
