Cirque du Soleil returns once again, under the blue and yellow triped tents at Concord Pacific Place, with its 35th production since 1984 – KURIOS: Cabinet of Curiosities!
KURIOS: Cabinet of Curiosities brings you into a steampunk world of curiosities in an inventor’s briefcase, where your ideas of time, space, and dimension are completely reinvented. Watch as reality becomes relative, through incredible acts of fluid contortion, extreme balancing, trampoline stunts, and more.
KURIOS was introduced in April 2014 in Montreal, and has been touring around the world, bringing their magical fantasy dimension to many. The show pays tribute to the discoveries and inventions in the 19th century Industrial Revolution.
The show uses the most props present in any show in Cirque’s history – an incredible 426 props, along with a cast of 46 artists from 16 different countries. This fast-paced performance will have your heart racing at moments of pure anticipation and suspense, or awe you with the artists’ amazing flow, strength, and grace in their colourful world of odd gadgetry.
If you think you’ve seen it all before, look again – Cirque du Soleil never fails to surprise and delight with their creativity and skills.
The show opened with its Vancouver premiere Thursday October 19th (in true Vancouver style – in the pouring rain) and will be on-stage at the Big Top until December 31st, 2017. Tickets start are $49, and are available online here: Cirque du Soleil. Get your tickets now before they sell out!
