Stop at the Hawthorne for some food, family time and craft beer – Located in Cloverdale, this new kid on the block restaurant is making a name for itself by creating good food and sourcing fresh, local ingredients. Their menu includes lots of family favourites, like flatbreads, chicken fingers, and burgers – and for the more advanced palates, they’re famous for their mussels and over 17 rotating beers on tap. Decent kid’s menu too!

3. pick up some treats at Sugar Patisserie Opened since September 2010, Sugar Patisserie has gotten a reputation for delicious macarons and elaborated wedding cakes. But did you know they also make scrumptious pastries and cookies?

4. Plan a date night at The Vault Great ambiance? Check. Good food? Check. Extensive wine and cocktail list? Check.

This restaurant is definitely a good place for date night! Their West Coast inspired menu has plenty of choices like, steak, seafood, salads and more. Try the Rack of Lamb with Herb & maple Dijon crusted and rosemary cabernet reduction, or the Curry Kahlua Prawns for something different.
