This week with most students, teachers and some parents off for the Spring Break holidays, our top 3 deals showcase what you can save money on for activities with the family!

Deals & Steals for March 19 – 25, 2018:

  1. Landmark Cinemas’ March Movie Break – $3 movies are available during Spring Break at Landmark Cinemas (In the Lower Mainland that’s in New West & Surrey Guildford). The following 3 movies are being shown again and it’s your chance to catch it with your family if you haven’t seen them already: Wonder, Paddington 2, and Ferdinand. Plus $1 from every movie ticket sold will be donated to Kids Help Phone. Oh, and you also receive a discount coupon book worth $20 in savings for future visits to Boston Pizza and Landmark Cinemas!
  2. Sonic Drive-In (US Deal) – Heading across the borders during Spring Break (or any other time)? Make sure to take a short stop in Ferndale, WA to visit Sonic Drive-In – it’s a popular fast food chain and closest location to Vancouver. They offer amazing milk shakes, limeades, burgers, and more! The best deals are to be found on their website – however a personal favourite is their Happy Hour – daily between 2pm-4pm – 1/2 price slushies and drinks any size (get the Route 44, which is the largest and share it!), and $0.99 corn dogs! If you’re flexible with your timing and don’t mind eating at different hours, 1/2 price milkshakes, floats, and ice cream slushies are available after 8pm daily. Don’t forget to download the Sonic Drive-In App for a free drink!
  3. Vancouver Art Gallery Tuesdays by Donation – The Vancouver Art Gallery (VAG) offers admission by donation on Tuesday nights from 5-9pm. Check out the VAG’s latest and trending exhibit, Takashi Murakami: The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg, on now until May 6. Go early as lineups can be quite long on Tuesday nights. If you can’t make Tuesdays, on Sundays from 10am-5pm children under the age of 12 get in free with a paying adult. During Spring Break, the art gallery also offers special events for children March 19-23 from 12pm-4pm.
