This week there’s some outstanding deals to be had! Sales galore around town in time for back to school. As well, PNE is now open so make sure to check it out this summer, some exciting concerts, new rides, and tasty new food creations.

1. TOMS shoes – From August 23-26, 2018 make sure to stop by the Richmond Oval and pick up your discounted pairs of Toms shoes for women, kids and babies as they are having a giant warehouse sale. Toms Warehouse Sale will feature over 30,000 pairs of shoes at up to 70% off. This sale is really popular in past years, so make sure to get there early on to pick up your shoes. 2. PNE/Playland –  The PNE opened this past weekend, and with it are the nightly summer concerts, deep fried food creations, marketplace of houseware products, and new rides. Make sure to check out PNE’s promo days to save on the gate admission. For example on Wednesday this week (August 22), show your BC library card and photo ID and receive $6 gate admission vs the regular price of $15 online or $18 at the gate. Vancity members daily can receive discounted $8 gate admission between 11am-1pm for the full duration of the fair. For full list of promo days including free or discounted gate fares, click here. BTW if you want to check out any of the summer nightly concerts (i.e. Goo Goo Dolls, Chicago, Cyndi Lauper) and don’t want to buy the reserved seats, you must login on the tickets website here by 11am the morning of the show to reserve your general admission seats for the concert. The surcharge per ticket is $3 each. You will be able to get into the show, but seats are not guaranteed so still get to the amphitheatre earlier than the concert time to save your own seat.
3. Bench Canada – Get an extra 60% off all sale items online at Bench Canada and free shipping over $79. You can get a light windbreaker jacket for $38 with this sale! Sale items available for both men & women. The Bench Canada website did not state how long this sale would be on for, but hurry to get deals on your size!
