A year ago today MaryinVancity.com was born. The name of the blog has changed to Vancouver Bits and Bites, but the content will remain the same. The main focus of this blog will remain good food, and all things that make BC the best place in the world.
This blog started as a tribute to my Dad, who taught me the joy of good food. I started writing because I wanted to be a better writer, but also in my own way, I wanted to share Joe’s love for food with all of you. He was an amazing man, and he loved life. He also knew how to eat.
So every time I write I think: Would Joe had liked this? would he have loved it?
A year ago today I started writing. And here I am still at it. Thank you all for sharing this journey with me. Thank you for your support and thank you for reading. It means the world to me.
