As the days get a little colder and a little darker, you can now add some brightness to your morning cup of joe. Keurig® in collaboration with Pink Tartan has created a limited edition designer cup. The cup was designed by Kimberley Newport-Mimran, President and Creative Director of Pink Tartan. All proceeds go to charity.
GMCR’s Keurig® Single Cup Brewing System has become a staple within the kitchens and offices of discerning Canadians due to their patented brewing technology, gourmet brands, and the revolutionary K-Cup® pack concept that allows for the perfect cup of coffee each time without having to grind, measure, or clean up. As Keurig® Single Cup brewers deliver a completely customizable experience with each and every cup to best suit the diverse tastes of Canadians, the partnership with a premier Canadian fashion designer couldn’t be more appropriate.
“Life is about finding beauty and inspiration every day, a walk with Max, morning coffee, a deep breath,” said Ms. Newport-Mimran. “The opportunity to work with the Keurig® brand to create a fashion-inspired cup to savour your morning, that gives back to the community in a meaningful way really resonates with me as a designer.”
100 per cent of profits from the sales of the cup will go to the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation, a charity close to the designer’s heart. In addition, Ms. Newport- Mimran has graciously agreed to donate $5,000 to the foundation.
The limited edition cup is available for purchase at Keurig.ca for $19.99 CAD. Coffee and fashion lovers are also encouraged to visit https://perfectccup.keurigcontest.ca/en to design their own unique cup online as part of the Fall 2013 Keurig “A Perfect Cup for Everyone” campaign.
The Keurig team will be visiting Metropolis at Metrotown on December 2nd to 31st to give British Columbians an opportunity to enjoy a free beverage, test out the brewing system and register to win instant prizes.
