Support local community and recycle your Christmas tree through the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area’s (MPBIA) 5th Annual Tree Chipping for Kids event, this Sunday, January 5th from 10:00am – 4:00pm at Kingsgate Mall (lower east side parking lot).

All trees chipped/recycled by donation and ALL proceeds support the Mount Pleasant Elementary School’s (MPES) fundraiser for a much-needed NEW community playground.

FREE cookies and hot chocolate will be served all event-long to those who donate! A BIG thank you to Arbutus Tree Service and Kingsgate Mall for their support.

Last year’s (2013) event recycled 283 trees and raised $2,207 for the MPES.
