Help us raise funds for the Vancouver AIDS Walk for Life!

The Vancouver AIDS Walk for Life will take place on Sunday September 21th.

Over 13,000 people live with HIV/AIDS in BC. Most of us have a friend, co-worker, or relative that has been touched in someway by this horrible disease.

So let’s do something about it! This walk spreads awareness and raises vital funds for those living with HIV and AIDS in our community. You can walk, fundraise or volunteer your time.
The walk starts at 10am, with registration opening and a pancake breakfast, with the walk officially starting at 12 noon. It consists of a 6.75Km walk route along the seawall.

Even thought AIDS is not the death sentence it was once, living with this disease it’s a constant struggle to those who suffer from it. All proceeds from the walk will be donated to the Complementary Health Fund which helps people living with HIV/AIDS with health-related expenses.

New this year, my dear friend Josh Rimer will be joining me for the walk. Josh has a great proposition for those on the fence about donating:

You can check the official Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life website for more details on how to get involved.
Together we can create stronger, healthier communities.

I am proud to be part of the AIDS Walk for Life this year, I hope you can join us, and if you can’t, please consider sponsoring us!
