Ah, nothing says summer like a delicious beer on a hot summer day – Imagine yourself on your deck, or at the patio relaxing after a hike, a bike or a simple leisure stroll sipping your favourite brews.

Ah, but not all brews are created equal! Here are my favourite summer beers this summer:

Stanley Park Brewery – Sunsetter

This full-bodied beer is summer in a bottle with its ripe peach flavours and refreshing citrus notes. Sunsetter is available at your local cold beer and wine store on its own or as part of their concession stand multi-pack.

Steamworks – Tropical Tart Ale

Intense. Tropical. Passionfruit and Pomegranate notes with a satisfying tartness. Tropical Tart Ale is available in four-packs at their brewery in Burnaby or your local beer and wine store.

Granville Island Brewery – Lions Summer Ale

Lively tropical fruit notes are balanced with subtle biscuity flavours and a slightly tart, refreshing finish. Available at your local liquor store.
