Top 3 Deals & Steals: October 16-22, 2018

Each week, experience our top 3 deals & steals that have been selected for you, whether it be shopping, food, or just tips on how to save some money!

This week we have flight deals to share with you! Please note although these deals are currently live, they are subject to change and maybe updated at anytime by the provided airlines/suppliers.

  1. Harbour Air – You will see them taking off downtown in Coal Harbour – Harbour Air is the float plan provider connecting Vancouver to Victoria, Nanaimo, Tofino, and other local destinations! They recently have started up their operations to fly into Seattle as well. This Thursday, October 18 they are hosting their popular Turbo Tickets sale on their website at 11:59PM (PST) – yes, you will have to stay awake to get these deals. 2000 sheets of Turbo Tickets will be available for sale for $200+GST, which consists of 4 one-way coupons per person valid for standby travel on domestic scheduled service flights operated by Harbour Air, Whistler Air, and Saltspring Air. No expiration dates and fully transferable. It’s a steal of a deal when each one-way ticket usually costs between $132-209 depending on flight destination and booking date. For full details on Turbo Tickets, click here. Make sure to copy the following link to directly purchase Turbo Tickets and bookmark it for Thursday.
  2. YVR Deals – By now you should be following the YVR Deals website already if you are into finding the hottest airline deals – however if you aren’t, you should have this website booked and follow them on Facebook! They list the latest deals and how to book them for air travel. This past weekend there were $375 round trip flights from Vancouver to Hawaii – Kauai or Kona, and earlier this month you could book a roundtrip flight from Vancouver to Singapore for $575 for next summer flights! If you have some extra cash and want to pre-book some cheap flights, this website is the best for picking out great flight deals.
  3. Swoop / Flair – I’ve mentioned both Swoop and Flair before on my deals posts, the new budget airlines that are operating out of Abbotsford. Swoop is Westjet’s budget airline, while Flair was the original budget airline operating out of Abbotsford. Flair has now expanded some flights to Vancouver (YVR) so you don’t have to trek out to Abbotsford. Both are offering great deals to domestic cities such as Calgary, Edmonton, Hamilton, and Winnipeg, and Swoop has extended their flights across the border offering flights to Las Vegas and Mexico. Plan your holiday trips now by comparing these prices to Westjet and Air Canada and save some money today.

If you have a deal to share, feel free to comment below so we can all take advantage of it or email us in advance to be featured on next week’s post!
