Whitecaps fans are in for a treat this season. Executive Chef Will Tse, BC Place, and Centreplate unveiled the new additions to their menu last week, just in time for the Whitecaps season opener. Available for purchase at all stadium events this year, the new items range from gluten-free, vegetarian, OceanWise, meat options, and are guaranteed to please even the hungriest fans. With over 40 concessions available at BC Place, there is something for everyone.
Some of the items are very creative, like The Outrageous Burger – which includes three house-made beef patties, a hot dog, three chicken strips, six strips of bacon, three cheddar cheese slices and fries.
Specially made for Pride season, BC Place has unveiled The Rainbow Grilled Cheese, a bright and colourful dish full of melted goodness.
“Centerplate at BC Place is excited to present our new menu, filled with food and beverage options that honour traditional stadium food and highlight British Columbia’s rich culinary history and diversity,” says Paul McArdle, General Manager for Centerplate at BC Place. “With an internationally inspired range of flavours, and ingredients produced and sourced locally where possible, guests at BC Place are in for a treat this year.”
If you’re looking for a saucy good time, you need the Beast Fries – caramelized onion, cheddar cheese, and Thousand Island dressing. You’ll need a fork for this one!
