The 44th annual Vancouver International Wine Festival, renowned for being Canada’s premier wine and food show, is returning to the Vancouver Convention Centre with a spectacular line-up of 152 wineries from 17 countries. Taking place from April 22-30, 2023, the festival offers guests the chance to enjoy 36 events over the course of eight days.

For the first time since 2020, the festival is shining a spotlight on the wines of South America, with wineries from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay scheduled to be featured in the Tasting Room and at special events throughout the week. Guests of the festival can also look forward to two of South America’s leading wine experts, Evan Goldstein MS and Patricio Tapia, who will be delivering insightful talks and sharing their expertise.
If you can only make it to one event, the Tasting Room is your must-attend event at the Vancouver International Wine Festival. At the Tasting Room in the Vancouver Convention Centre, you’ll have the opportunity to sample wines from all 152 participating wineries, as well as explore sparkling wine tasting stations, Regional Tasting Stations from around the world, and food and wine-related exhibitors. Sip from premium wine glasses, discover exciting new wines or return to old favourites.

Tickets for the Tasting Room evening tastings (Thursday-Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m.) are available at an advance rate of $109 (Thursday), $119 (Friday), and $129 (Saturday). The Saturday matinee tasting (2:30 to 5 p.m.) is also available at the advance rate of $109. A limited number of tickets are available at this rate, so be sure to buy yours soon before they sell out. For those looking for a truly special experience, the Super Pass includes access to six tastings (four public IFTs and two Trade Tastings, presented by ContainerWorld) and the exclusive Festival Toast VIP reception, all for just $460 at the advance rate (regular price of $490).
