This breathtaking production, presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC, is a faithful adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s timeless novel features music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg and background music by Herbert Stothart. Adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company, this rendition faithfully recreates the beloved songs and iconic moments from the 1939 film.

Journey to the Land of Oz

Meet Dorothy Gale, a young girl from Kansas who gets whisked away to the magical land of Oz by a wild tornado. Prepare to meet all sorts of fascinating characters along the way: good witches, talking animals, even walking scarecrows! And don’t forget about the incredible sights and wonders that Oz has to offer.

Dorothy’s ultimate goal? Finding her way back home! To do that, she must follow the Yellow Brick Road all the way to Emerald City, where the mysterious and all-powerful Wizard resides. But it won’t be an easy journey. Our brave protagonist will have to face dangerous challenges, like the wicked and relentless pursuit of the fearsome Wicked Witch of the West. Why does she want Dorothy’s magical ruby slippers so badly?

As Dorothy embarks on her adventure, she also discovers the true meaning of home. You won’t want to miss the lessons she learns and the friendships she forms. So buckle up and join Dorothy on her magical quest through Oz. Remember, “there’s no place like home”!
