I’ve walked past this restaurant many times, and it’s always busy. The last time I walked past it, I saw a woman drinking the largest Margarita I’ve ever seen – I knew I had to try this place!
One of those giant Margaritas will serve 3 (or one very thirsty person) and it will set you back 21 bucks. Their margaritas are amazing. I tasted the mango and strawberry ones and they were delicious.
I love that their menu offers combos. You can choose from a variety of dishes such as quesadillas, tacos, flautas, etc. All combos come with rice, beans and veggies. I really recommend the combos if you’d like to try more than one dish. We tried the Baja fish tacos ($13). I should note that we were surprised that the fish came deep fried. Don’t get me wrong, the batter gave the fish a very satisfying crunch, but if you were looking for a healthier option on the menu, this dish is not for you.
We also tried the beef chimichanga and chorizo quesadilla combo (17). I loved the chimichanga. This crispy burrito came stuffed with well-seasoned meat, beans and cheese. The quesadilla was filled with spicy chorizo and melted cheese.
I loved the food, it was very good. The Margaritas were amazing. The only thing I was disappointed on was the dessert. We tried the flan ($4). I found the flan to be very runny and the caramel sauce very generic. I wouldn’t recommend it.
