There’s a short-lived tradition that I have with a close friend, we don’t see each other often but when we do we always go for Pho. We have tried some old haunts and have sometimes discovered new ones, and that was the case when we “discovered” a little place called Green Bamboo Viet Noodle near Metrotown, outside the Crystal Mall on Willingdon.

The place itself is very quaint and pretty small, we were walking in that area and just saw the pictures in the window so we decided to have a seat and try it out. We’re so glad we did!

The prices are excellent and the portion sizes are great. We both had different types of soup and both of them were very good. You know how sometimes Pho tastes very salty? This place serves it just right. It was very tasty! My friend is pretty much a pho expert and she said that it is the best one that she’s had in the area. The noodle to soup ratio was perfect for my taste as well.

So, if you find yourself in the Metrotown area and are in the mood for Pho, I recommend trying this small place out. I think you will not be disappointed.
