One of my favourite summer events in Vancouver is the Joe Fortes media patio party. What is not to love about good food, good cocktails and good company. And of course, an evening at Joe Fortes coveted rooftop patio overlooking Robson St is the place to be on a  summer evening. The patio has turned a rooftop garden into an urban oasis featuring a living green wall, outdoor fireplace and bar.

Aside from the superb seafood there are a few dishes that simply compliment their patio experience, like their Cajun Crab & Corn Fritters or Lobster & Shrimp Roll. And let’s not forget their extensive wine list!

The hospitality at this restaurant is second to none.

Some highlights of the evening included a mimosa bar, seafood station, made-to-order salmon cakes and a lemon shortcake dessert station.
