TopTable Group in Whistler (Araxi Restaurant and Oyster Bar, The Cellar by Araxi, Bar Oso, and Il Caminetto) is host again this year to a series of fine dining and wine-related events as part of Whistler’s premier food and drink festival, Cornucopia.
From November 9-19, 2017 The Cellar at Araxi will be host to the 2017 Intimate Wine Dinner Series. Araxi’s newly appointed Executive Chef, Quang Dang (previously with Toptable Group’s sister venue West Restaurant & Bar) will bring his focused local and seasonal cooking to the various Intimate Wine Dinner Series scheduled throughout the festival pairing your favourite winery with mouth-watering, locally sourced food tastings. Such pairings from Burrowing Owl Estate Winery, Foxtrot Vineyards, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Culmina Family Estate Winery, and The Wines Estates of Moet Hennessy will be featured in the various dinners slated for this series.

The Intimate Wine Dinner Series begins at 6pm each evening and priced from $149 to $159 per person. As part of Cornucopia’s mission to bring together the community, the Whistler Public Library and the Whistler Writing Society are named as 2017’s joint beneficiaries for this charity-related event.
While visiting Cornucopia, also check out Araxi Restaurant & Oyster Bar’s Big Guns dinner on November 11. This year’s dinner has Executive Chef James Walt unveiling a sneak peek of his new menu for the newly opening Il Caminetto restaurant. Guests at the Big Guns Viva Italia event will be the first to taste Chef Walt’s modern take on Italian classics, paired with wines selected from some of Italy’s finest wineries, selected by Cornucopia Ambassador and Araxi Sommelier Samantha Rahn.

Cornucopia runs November 9 – 19, 2017 throughout Whistler. For the latest schedule and ticket info on Cornucopia 2017, visit whistlercornucopia.com.
