Two Great Parks, One Destination – Visiting Cultus Waterpark and Adventure Park

Cultus Lake Waterpark is celebrating 35 years as BC’s favourite water park. Family owned and operated, the park has a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and offers some of the best slides and rides only an hour away from Vancouver.

We loved coming here. This is a great place for a family to spend a whole summer day having a blast.

Cultus Lake Waterpark and Cultus Lake Adventure park are located right across from one another, and are open rain or shine from June 22 to Sept 2 this season. The Waterpark is open from 9:30am to 6:30pm and the Adventure Park is open from noon till 8pm every day.

We had such a good time at the water park, Dylan and I rode a lot of the slides. It was nice that we could ride them together, the park is really good at accommodating parents with younger kids. There were lots of attractions he was able to do alone, like the Adventure River and the Pirate’s Cove. Click here for their full list of attractions.

Of course, after having so much fun, you work up an appetite. The park offers a variety of fun dining options, such as hotdogs, burgers, french fries, and chicken fingers. They even have a java hut for us caffeine-fueled parents so we can keep up with our young ones.

After we had our fill of the Water Park, we crossed the street to the Adventure Park. What a great place!  Waterpark Guests can enjoy a discount of up to $14/person.The offer is available on the stub of every waterpark admission ticket and can be redeemed on any weekday during the 2019 season!

The park has many great attractions for little ones. By measuring your child with their height index charts, the park gives you a clear overview of what rides are age-appropriate for them. Dylan really liked the Bumping Boats (that’s because he cornered me and got me soaking wet!), and the Runaway Train – their version of a rollercoaster – Dylan was thrilled he was able to ride that one as it was his very first rollercoaster.

The best part of this outing was the memories we got to make together. Jake and I took the day off to hang out with Dylan. We love our little guy. (he’s a great kid). And with work, responsibilities and everything else us adults have to juggle on an everyday basis, it was so nice for all of us to loosen up a little and enjoy being together and play as a family.
It’s never too late to have the childhood you never had!
