Thanks to the lovely Erin Ireland and her fabulous twitter contests, I had a chance to try Q4 on Kits.
Once we got seated, our waiter offered some complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. A perfect way to start our feast!
We started with the Polpette di Nonno ($12.95) Housemade meatballs in a marsala caramelized onion and parmigiano crostini. The meatballs were really good! Just the right amount of spice. The sauce was perfect for dipping.

Not big enough to share, we ordered another appetizer as well. We went for the Arancini di Riso ($14.95) Crab and rice croquetta with a caper and lemon aioli served with a shaved fennel salad. Ohhh, I was in crabcake heaven! these are by far the best crabcakes I have ever eaten! crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce was a great pairing for the dish.
For our entrees we decided to try their famous Spaghetti Quattro ($17.95). Now the menu clearly states that this dish is “for Italians only” and there is a reason for that: The amount of garlic they use is massive! now don’t get me wrong, this was a tasty dish , but don’t be expecting a simple, tomato based spaggetti sauce. It was spicy and garlicy and did I mention spicy?
We also had their Tagliatelle con Rucola ($20.95) Tagliatelle with shaved beef tenderloin, grape tomatoes, arugula in a light tomato sauce and finished with parmigiano reggiano. Now THAT was super tasty. The sauce was creamy and thick and the beef was tender and juicy. A very satisfying meal.
I should also mention their fantastic wine list. I ordered their house wine Tormaresca – “Paiara” Negroamaro & Cabernet 2007. for $6.75 a glass, you can’t go wrong! and it was delicious.
