Coming back for its 22nd year, The Wellness Show is Western Canada’s largest trade show dedicated to helping you live your life in a more holistic and balanced way.
From February 14-26, the show is taking over the Vancouver Convention Centre with the latest wellness techniques, practices, products and services, like Raindrops Acupuncture.
Using 1000 Qi micro-magnets, their treatments can help your face to reconnect with Qi (energy), helping you look younger without the aid of lasers or surgeries.
Other exhibitors include the authors of One Great Year Rene DeFazio and Tamara Veitch.
I’ve heard so much about this book, so I finally got myself a copy. Think of it as a love/hate/action story 1300 years in the making. So far I can’t put it down!
This year’s Wellness Show features over 100 workshops, demonstrations and guest speakers. These will be spread out over the weekend, on five different stages: Living Well, the Fitness Demonstration Stage, the Workshop Stage, Women & Wellness and the Celebrity Cooking Stage, where I caught up with Chef Craig Scherer of Italian Kitchen.
February is heart month, so learn to take better care of your heart at a seminar on cardiovascular health by Dr. Boheimer, learn about stress and adrenal fatigue from Dr. Marr, get onto an anti-inflammatory diet with Julie Daniluk (host of The Healthy Gourmet), get a handle on your hormones with Lorna Vanderhaeghe, learn how to take better care of your psychological health and wellness with Dr. Joti Samra (host of Million Dollar Neighborhood) and how to make apple-packed pancakes with Julie Van Rosendaal (of Dinner with Julie).
You’ll find the latest and greatest products and services to give you energy, relax, pamper, soothe, and make you naturally healthy and beautiful. Snack your way around the show and sample the best in gluten-free, organic, raw and other health foods, supplements and vitamins, as well as enjoying dishes prepared by top celebrity chefs.
The Wellness Show features something for everyone: women, men, seniors and even kids! Learn about the very latest, cutting edge wellness practices, products and services, ask questions, sample, and get support with your wellness goals.
