Exploring NYC with the New York CityPASS

New York City is an iconic destination, drawing millions of tourists each year. With so much to see, it can be overwhelming to take it all in. CityPASS is the perfect way to experience the best of New York City at an affordable price.

The CityPASS grants access to five of the city’s most iconic attractions, including the Empire State Building, the American Museum of Natural History, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. With the CityPASS, visitors will save up to 42% off the total cost of admission, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious travellers.

For this trip, I decided to check out the Guggenheim Museum, as they were having an exhibit by renowned Chicago artist Nick Cave. It didn’t disappoint. His art is so raw and beautiful and it showcases the beauty and struggle of being black and queer in America. A must-see if you get the chance.

Another first one for me was the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. This was very heavy and hard to tour. I mean, we all saw the clips, and know the story, but this museum does a really good job of humanizing the tragedy and being there, at ground zero, was a very solemn experience.

The CityPASS also comes with a helpful guidebook with detailed information about each attraction, maps and discount offers. I took advantage of the 40% off Broadway tickets and saw Some Like it Hot (An amazing musical BTW!)

CityPASS is an excellent option for travellers looking to experience the best of New York City. With the CityPASS, visitors can enjoy the city’s attractions without breaking the bank.
